The Lebanon-based company is a research and product development firm that brings marketable products and solutions to active life improvement in sports injury, human performance and mobility. Hailed by Time Magazine in its “Best Inventions for 2007” issue for two of its creations, Simbex has developed the Head Impact Telemetry (HIT) System which includes a helmet, data transmitter and console which can record the force of impacts to the heads of football players and soldiers. In addition to measurement, the system can match what kind of a hit an individual took with treatment options.
