ParaBase Tech NH, LLC Named March Innovation Rocks! Award Winner

The creation of a specially constructed multi-terrain standup wheelchair led to Manchester-based ParaBase Tech NH, LLC being named the Innovation Rocks! Award winner by the New Hampshire Business Resource Center for the month of March.

ParaBase Tech NH, LLC recently celebrated the FDA approval of the ParaMobile, a product which helps individuals with disabilities to safely stand up to participate in outdoor activities such as golfing, fishing and hunting. Last August, the ParaMobile was used by a disabled veteran to throw out the first pitch at a New Hampshire Fisher Cats game and was also featured in a Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park. It is now being targeted for use for veterans returning home from the war with disabilities.

The ParaMobile is a perfect example of an innovative product which is improving the lives of people throughout the world, said New Hampshire Business Resource Center Director Roy Duddy. It emphasizes ability vs. disability and provides countless opportunities for citizens to enjoy everyday activities safely and painlessly.
