The Central Contractors webpage is going through some changes. www.ccr.gov
The look and feel, the navigation and some of the steps to register in CCR will change on 2-11-07.
When the new website comes up (Sunday 2-11-07 late afternoon) you will want to take some time to look around and make sure your registration is OK.
Please review https://www.bpn.gov/ReleaseNotes/ for an explanation of the NAICS code changes that are coming in the new release expected to be put in production on Sunday February 11th.
Below is the list of the NAICS codes exceptions for your review.
Per SBA request, CCR will no longer contain "small business" or "emerging small business" as a business type.
All small business/emerging small will only be identified per NAICS code.
When you click on "Search CCR" from the main screen, the page will default to the "simple search".
To access the "advanced search" (name/naics/etc) you will need to click on "advanced search" from the search page.
This will not change YOUR registration at all but you should go in and search for your registration using your DUNS # and make sure you are still active and not missing any information.

The above NAICS exceptions are implemented in DSBS.
The NAICS exceptions are displaying on the profile page.
The small business status "[Yes]" or "[No]" will be displayed next to each NAICS exception in the "NAICS code�s Description" column.
If all the exceptions of a NAICS code are "Yes" then the small business status of NAICS will be "Yes" and displayed in the "Small?" column.
If all the exceptions of a NAICS code are "No" then the small business status of NAICS will be "No" and displayed in the "Small?" column.
If one of the exceptions for a NAICS is "Yes" and other is "No" then the small business status of the NAICS cannot be "YES" or "No" and the system will display "See Description" in the "Small?" column.
This way the contracting officer is aware of the NAICS exception.
