Small Business Matchmaker Events

Save the Date!

Annually in December, the New Hampshire Procurement Technical Assistance Center provides companies with opportunities to meet face-to-face with small business specialists from government agencies, as well as with small business liaison officers (SBLOs) from large prime contractors. The event is co-sponsored by the NH Small Business Administration and the NH Small Business Development Center, and NH PTAC.

The 2020 NH Small Business Matchmaker Event will be a virtual event held in January 2021.  Stay tuned for updates!

NAVFAC - Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Virtual Event
Plan on attending to hear how your company can take advantage of these opportunities at the shipyard and develop mutually beneficial relationships with NAVFAC and other contractors working at the shipyard.
Navy facilities in all six New England states, plus New York, fall under the responsibility of NAVFAC’s PWD Maine.
Together with the Maine PTAC and Public Works Department (PWD) Maine, local businesses can learn about exciting opportunities to bid on construction contracts as a prime or subcontractor at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.

As part of Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), PWD Maine supports the mission of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) and its area of responsibility (AOR) by providing products and services that maintain the installation’s facilities and infrastructure. Annually, PWD Maine executes over $40 million in construction contracts that are targeted for small business set-asides. This trend is expected to increase over the next several years due to programs that include the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP) and the Service Life Extension Program (SLEP).

Be Ready when the Bidding Begins
Construction, engineering and related support contractors will be needed by the Prime contractors selected to undertake a major facilities construction project at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
This will be a multi-year construction project requiring ongoing subcontracting opportunities for local/regional companies.

If you are interested in pursuing subcontract opportunities, contact your New Hampshire PTAC procurement counselor who can assist in conducting research and outreach on the project.
