The InvestNH Municipal Per Unit Grant Program makes $30 million available to municipalities, providing an incentive of $10,000 per unit of new affordable housing they permit. Awards are issued as one-time payments to municipalities on a first-come, first-served basis, with $1 million per project and per municipality caps, with limited exceptions. Units must be for households at or below 80 percent of Area Median Income (AMI) and projects must create a minimum of three new affordable units. Additional conditions apply.
Notice: InvestNH MPU and DEMO Grant Program Application Deadline
As of August 5, 2024, application review for the InvestNH municipal DEMO and MPU programs will be paused, pending processing of already submitted applications and assessment of remaining funds. To ensure your application is considered, please submit all necessary documents and complete your application process before August 5. Applications received after this date will not be reviewed unless the pause is lifted.
