Applications are now available for the $1.5 million Paper and Pulp Manufacturing Industry Stabilization (PPM) Program administered by the state’s Department of Business and Economic Affairs (BEA).
The PPM Program was authorized in the state budget signed into law by Gov. Chris Sununu in June 2023. The program is designed to provide financial assistance resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic to eligible businesses.
This competitive program is open to New Hampshire-based businesses involved in processing or manufacturing pulp, paper and paperboard products and producing paper products. They can be reimbursed for eligible costs including infrastructure, equipment, construction, energy generation, efficiency enhancements, and environmental remediation. Funding received must be used for manufacturing facilities within the state.
