Patterson, Long Join Broadband Team

The Department of Business and Economic Affairs announces the hiring of Bridget Patterson and Megan Long to its Office of Broadband Initiatives.

New Hampshire was one of the first states to receive approval for its broadband expansion program as part of the American Rescue Plan Act’s (ARPA) Coronavirus Capital Projects Fund. The Department of Business and Economic Affairs created the Office of Broadband Initiatives to develop and implement plans to bring high-speed internet to thousands of underserved and unserved areas of the state.

Patterson will be the accountant for the office, bringing her accounting experience in the private sector, where she focused on manufacturers and not-for-profit organizations.

Long will be the business administrator for the broadband office. Prior to joining the agency, she was a branch manager with Northway Bank in the Lakes Region.

Matthew Conserva, program manager for the Office of Broadband Initiatives, says Patterson and Long have critical roles in implementing $318 million the state received for broadband expansion. For more information about the Office of Broadband Expansion, click here.
