Careers and Occupations

New Hampshire’s healthy economy offers job seekers plenty of opportunities to advance in their careers and connecting with the Office of Workforce Opportunity (OWO) is the resource for those exploring new jobs, advancing their skills, or seeking additional training to remain competitive within their field.

Free resources are available at NH Works Centers, which are located throughout the state.

Workers who have lost their jobs due to a layoff or business closure may be eligible for services available through OWO’s Rapid Response program. For more information contact Jimmie Hinson at 603-419-0995.

Is it time to change careers? OWO has resources to help job seekers evaluate the next steps, such as earning a degree or certificate to advance, or choose a new career path. Determining where tomorrow’s hot jobs are today can help chart that course.
