State Workforce Innovation Board

Appointed by the governor, the State Workforce Innovation Board (SWIB) administers Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds and oversees state workforce development initiatives. The SWIB is comprised of business owners, union representatives, state legislators, statewide agency heads, local elected officials, and state agency partners.

To promote and advocate for talent development by partnering with businesses, agencies, educational institutions, and organizations to support a unified and innovative workforce development system that meets the needs of business and individual customers.
